I, Michael Keeku, grew up on a small hog farm in Raymond,WI which was started over 40 years ago. The farm started out more commercial but turned to showpigs when I joined 4-H. My brothers and I talked our father into becoming the pig leader because our club didn't have one. After my 4-H years, I married Jean. Together, we became the 4-H leaders for a Racine county club. After having 3 girls we started farrowing pigs on a small scale for them to show in 4-H. After a few years of farrowing we began focusing our attention on buying and raising showpigs.  We became very successful, learning all the extras it takes to win at very competitive shows. We have purchased hogs from many places including Cherney Farms and Mike Murphy Farms who in particular have been crucial aspects to our successes. Our girls have outgrown 4-H and we don't want to give up on showpigs, so we have purchased some of the best genetics to breed. We want to stay a small showpig operation to be more selective on what we breed our sows to. We will strive to sell quality, healthy pigs so your show's will be as enjoyable as our's.
